I live in Oklahoma and my heart belongs to Texas, but my daughter doesn't know it. We share the house with our 12 yr old 'puppy' Bear, my parents, and whatever characters she and I come up with. Yes, my toddler is writing now too! Together we have a total of 1 blog, 12 books (7 published and waiting for you!), and 10 dragons. 

I am the author of The Stone Dragon Saga, Leonard the Lemur (coming soon), and Paulonious Punk (coming later). I also write a blog about writing, teaching, parenting, and all things whimsical titled Here There be Dragons. I co-created Tyree Tomes, a family run editing and indie page, with my father (Dr. Wilson Jay Tyree). My mother, Becky Tyree, illustrates for me. My daughter, the Monkey, has me co-authoring bedtime stories for monsters (coming soon!). Good thing Bear only wants a few bones and a belly rub!
